Dortmund transfer confusion?

From the outside looking in it seems as if Dortmund are eager to do business in the summer window but as their 3 deals came down the home stretch only 1 of them were to be completed and that was Felix Nmecha.
Dortmund pulled out of the Edson Alvarez and Ivan Fresneda deals, in both they were said to not be happy with the pricing. Fresneda is now on the move to Barcelona after Dortmund and Ivan were unable to reach a new agreement on personal terms following Fresneda's new agent hiring.

So now the question is, where will the money be spent, well In another tweet I gave the assumed answer
The only player Dortmund have signed so far is Felix Nmecha who is a very talented youngster who has to settle some off the field problems first but will no doubt shape into a great player.
Specifically the board hope he can eventually be the Jude Bellingham replacement, meaning the so called Mr X could in fact not be a youngster like once rumored. Dortmund went after Gundogan, offering him a contract, with that intent, any class midfielder will sign even if they aren't in their twenties anymore.
What Dortmund will do with Mr X only they know, but now at the end of this article I will drop midfielders they have been linked with who could possibly be Mr X, also my favorites to be Mr X.
