The summer transfer window officially opened today. One new signing has been completed: Joane Gadou signed for around €20 million in May from RB Salzburg. Little has leaked under Ole Book's leadership. Long-time rumors fed to media outlets from anonymous sources within BVB have come to an end. However, the needs are clear: a 6, 10, and defensive reinforcements as well.
Possible Exits
Yan Couto
Yan Couto will not be at the club next season, Como secured him on a 1-year loan, covering his salary for a year, however do not have a buy option/obligation. Putting BVB in a strong negotiating position should Couto find success in his loan. If not, the bosses will almost certainly have to accept the transfer as a failure, and be prepared to take a loss financially.
Possible Fee: €N/A
Karim Adeyemi
Adeyemi seems likely to leave, the 24 year old has not found consistency in Dortmund and appears an exit candidate on an expiring contract. However, Adeyemi has also not found suitors in the market as of now according to SPORTBILD. Adeyemi's potential will likely bring stronger suitors later in the window, but should he decide not to wait, he could be forced to reassess his expectations.
Possible Fee: €40-50m

The World Cup has been excellent so far. As we near the Round of 16 don't miss out on getting your favorite players shirt!

Serhou Guirassy
Guirassy remains an exit candidate as he continues to evaluate his options around Europe. A move to Saudi appears to be ruled out for now, with Turkiye looking like a likely destination should other clubs not up their pursuit. Reports from Turkish reporter Yago Sabuncuoglu say Ole Book met again with Fenerbahce today, telling the Turkish club, who is attempting to wait out BVB for a lower transfer fee, to make their final decision and send an offer today.
Possible Fee: €35-40m
Felix Nmecha
Nmecha has increased his interest around Europe significantly following two excellent performances at the World Cup. Unfortunately, his campaign is over and he has returned to Germany now. He has time to look over his potential options, with a multitude of clubs interested: Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern, and more have expressed their interest. BVB is disinterested in a sale, however should a ridiculously high bid come in, you'd imagine the bosses would be forced to consider it. Nmecha recently extended his contract until 2030, making him one of the top earners. BVB is in control of the situation, and Nmecha appears comfortable in Dortmund.
Possible Fee: €120m+
Nico Schlotterbeck
Schlotterbeck is currently dealing with a ligament injury that he suffered against Cote d'Ivoire. According to The Athletic, he has been ruled out as an option for Real Madrid. Fabrizio Romano reported yesterday Schlotterbeck was never in talks with Real Madrid, and a move is ruled out. BILD report internally it's assumed both him and Felix Nmecha will return next season. He has a release clause available to specific clubs.
Possible Fee: €50-60m
Other possible exits include Diant Ramaj, who has been sent out on loan consistently since arriving. His future in Dortmund seems non-apparent as Gregor Kobel will remain the starter as long as he remains at the club.
