As the summer transfer window begins, Dortmund have already secured the services of 2 players, Serhou Guirassy (28m including signing bonus) and Waldemar Anton (22.5m) from VFB Stuttgart, the club also appears to be closing in on the signings of Pascal Groß (8m) and Rayan Cherki (15m), all of that would bring the club's total spending to around 73.5m, but the budget can grow to much more, and it will, but what signings will come?

But first, who could leave the club?
Gio Reyna
Gio Reyna is an interesting player, one who has potential, but was limited and held back by injuries early on and is now struggling to find a role at Dortmund and will likely be sold. My outlook on the situation is that he will be sold for upwards of 20m this summer to kickstart his club career elsewhere, while being replaced by Rayan Cherki who will look to compete with Julian Brandt for a starting role
Sebastien Haller
Sebastien Haller is another player who has not broken into the Dortmund team this season, after playing a pivotal role the season prior in Dortmund's title charge, this season saw Niclas Füllkrug take over as the starting striker. Haller will unfortunately leave the club this summer it seems, a player I very much like has had his career in Dortmund cut short due to unfortunate circumstances and will look elsewhere for playing time, I believe he will be sold for 15m, maybe even soon to Besiktas
Salih Özcan
Salih Özcan is a highly physical player, one who can definitely play a solid backup role or maybe starting role elsewhere but not in Dortmund, with the signing of Pascal Groß or another midfielder imminent, Özcan will likely be collateral damage, forced to make way for another signing, with interest from OM, Rennes, Besiktas, and multiple Saudi clubs according to Patrick Berger I see a mini "bidding war" breaking out for him, ultimately seeing him leave the club for 12m
Niklas Süle
Niklas is a talented player there's no denying, but his fitness level has consistently raised concerns among the bosses and trainers at the club, but there's still hope for his Dortmund career. The first training is July 10th, if he shows up in good enough shape and shows the club he's ready to compete with Waldemar Anton for the starting spot next to Nico Schlotterbeck, then they will be forced to reconsider their plans to shop the market for him. They believe a sale is unlikely as Süle makes upwards of 14m a year, and doesn't want to leave the club
Youssoufa Moukoko
A young gem, Moukoko has shown at times that he has talent, but consistency and a lack of playing time has done him no good, but despite all of that he wishes to remain playing at Borussia Dortmund, he wants to break through the ranks and earn a starting spot at the club, he hopes to start and even on his recent holiday it's been said he has been working super hard, putting in extra work in order to come in on July 10th and be in the best shape, hopefully he can break through and his hard work pays off
Karim Adeyemi/Donny Malen
Both are talented and almost split the season it seems, Dortmund though could sell them should offers come through that the club can't refuse, Adeyemi has admirers in England, but Juventus pose the biggest threat to taking him away now, meanwhile Donny Malen's situation is a mystery to me, I believe he would be sold for more, but I don't know about much concrete interest right now, and I haven't seen many reports lately either, but still it's believed some in England like him, so more will come out in time

Dortmund can make a lot of money this summer, but will they spend it all?
Dortmund need a left back, right now they are entrusting Ramy Bensebaini, while Ferdi Kadıoğlu would be great, he would be expensive, too expensive, Dortmund has little wish to bid 35m plus add ons and a sell on clause to Fenerbahce, plus his wages are believed to be expensive, he also has interest from 4 Premier League clubs according to reports out of Turkey, but that's why Dortmund is considering alternatives, like Patrick Dorgu for example, but what about Jadon Sancho?
Sancho loves Dortmund, Fabrizio Romano said earlier last month that his priority is and always has been to return to Dortmund, and who knows maybe he ends his career here, but I find it confusing to me why Dortmund is looking to spend so little on a midfielder right now, and maybe they could spend more soon on another midfielder, but Sahin is entrusting Kjell Watjen next season to make an impact, as well as Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Julien Duranville, but why not go get another player and spend all the money possible this window?

What if Dortmund are preparing to go back in for Jadon Sancho with a new offer, a loan with a buy option/obligation, which might be the best offer United get this summer, they've offered him to clubs to no avail, Barcelona seems at most like they'd only do a loan, United are running out of options, they don't ideally want to pay his wages while he does nothing and Ten Hag is being stubborn still, so why not continue the reunion of Jadon with the club he wants, Borussia Dortmund, who also seem like they wouldn't mind him back, maybe, just maybe, they can save up enough for a 45m buy option next summer, and it starts by saving up this summer. I've always been confident that Jadon will stay this summer, but again this portion of the article is all opinion and speculation based, nothing concrete, but something I believe is very much on the table.
