After missing an extended period of time due to cancer treatment Sebastian Haller took place in his first game since the diagnosis. He was subbed on in the 74th minute for Youssoufa Moukoko, he made an immediate impact as he was on the ball a good amount whether it was in the midfield, and even got a shot off on goal, which was saved by Duesseldorf keeper Florian Kastenmeier. • Multiple clubs in pursuit of Marcus Thuram's signature

Barcelona have been linked with multiple striking options but a new rumor has come out that they're highly interested in Marcus Thuram from Gladbach. The Frenchman has been linked with other clubs as well, but those rumors mostly fell apart. It doesn't seem like Dortmund will attempt and sign the striker as they ended their persuits at the end of last window. However Barcelona does have competition with Chelsea and even possibly Tottenham as both are willing to sign the French international in this window. Gladbach is also a form of competition as they don't appear to want to sell their top scorer, and the Bundesliga's second top scorer. Image via Football365

  • Dortmund holding out hope for a Jude Bellingham extension

Jude Bellingham has made no decision on his future as of right now, the Englishmen will sit down with Dortmund in the future to discuss his future. If he were to want to stay at Dortmund he would immediately be offered a massive contract. He would become a top earner at the club, who would be willing to splash some cash to keep him at the club. It isn't unreasonable to think Bellingham could extend considering he seems happy in Dortmund, but if he were to leave clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and possibly Liverpool could make large offers for him. • Bellingham price to stay above €145m

Despite rumors occurring in Spanish media outlets that Dortmund would negotiate a deal with Real Madrid for Jude Bellingham for €100m those rumors are false. Despite the good personal and business relationship between Watzke and Perez, Dortmund would not even think about an offer for less than €145m, the Dembele to Barcelona transfer is the inspiration for the price. Talks will happen in January although it is very unlikely for Jude to leave Germany until the summer window opens. Picture from TEAMTalk

  • The Madueke to BVB rumors over?

After the Jadon Sancho departure the Schwarzgelben have been linked to many players as a replacement and one promising story that was promising was that PSV's Madueke would be moving to Dortmund. This rumor was shot down recently after PSV has stated they aren't willing to sell Madueke for less than 30 million euros (rumor). This shot down Dortmund as they were hoping not to spend that much after a financial loss due to Covid and no fans being aloud into the stadium. One thing to note is that this deal looks very possible if Erling Haaland does get sold this summer, this would of course not be a top priority for Borussia Dortmund though, as players like Jermiah St Juste and Ridle Baku would both be looked at before the Englishmen. Still looks very promising that he will make a move at some point in his career.
